I'll overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
